Wood is straight grained and rather plain in color and grain pattern. Not too bad for the price but i was hoping for a better piece. Ad says item id "DYI" but it needs a lot of work and expense before it can be put on a guitar...needs to be radiused and frets procured and installed.

It will serve my purpose for buying it as a router guide for the fretboards I build, but not likely suitable for use as a fretboard. The material used is too soft to withstand the high contact and wear that a fretboard receives.
