They COULD have put colored dots or stickers on joints that fit together or put dots of different colored nail polish on holes that should be connected. We have put together plenty of IKEA furniture, so we aren't newbies at this. Nor are we professionals. So we are great at following excellent instructions. But the instructions were a bit difficult to follow.
