    Not all it's cracked up to be.

    My last two 1000 watt microwaves have been very poor at heating even a cup of water. This one is no exception. After heating for a full minute at high power the water was only lukewarm. My earlier older units were very good at heating quickly and was steaming hot in one minute. I can only assume that microwave units are made much cheaper now with inferior products and design. Before you tell me it may be a power issue, I've been using the same outlet for 15 years with 4 different machines.
