    Great entertainment

    Having watched the Sopranos several years before I was familiar with the character played by Steven Van Zandt which made Lilyhammer all the more enjoyable. Steven Van Zandt was absolutely the perfect actor to be cast in the title role for this production. Certain series and movies I enjoy so much I tend to purchase them on DVD so I can watch them over again every couple of years which is why I purchased this series. There is a difference between realistic and a story well told. Those looking for realistic will probably be dissatisfied with this series but if looking for entertainment and a good story it won't disappoint.

    Great deal on a favorite tv series. The case was broken, so that the 1st and 2nd discs could not be secured in the case, leading to possible damage.

    Like a good mod movie balanced with more natural humor, a great balance.

    While the language is a bit strong for many, one has to consider it is probably natural for the characters, it is as engaging as the "Sopranos" but with a more flight hearted nadir and humor, although it get more gritty in later seasons it is a show I think most will find very entertaining. the only down side as at this time I know of no 2nd or 3rd seasons available for region 1 on DVD or Blue Ray which seems odd and many fans are waiting for.
