    Product shipped

    This is an excellent car for you if you have "Meg-A-Watts" transformer plant. Now you can show what they make and really ship one -- or two if you have two of these. The transformer is held to the car by gluing the thing down, there are two pins under the ends of it which are in holes in the car floor. Carefully work it loose, then fill in the holes, then repaint the deck and you now have a car which can be shown loaded, or empty. To load the transformer on the car, get a couple of hair rubber bands, about a 1/2" in diameter, use the same color for both and you are simulating the steel band which normally secure this load to the car. The cars have no road name or number but this is a minor thing to fix if it bothers you by adding those from decal sets. All in all a very good addition to ...

    Bachmann Depressed Center Flat Car

    I don't leave anything stock; so, the first thing I did upon receiving my car was to weather it, cut off the brake wheel and shaft and replace with a thinner shaft, then I blocked the base of the load and strapped the load down with a thread cable. I weathered the deck some. My biggest disappointment with the car is that it is not lettered for any railroad and I guess none of the Bachmann Dep. Center Flat Cars are lettered and why not? Except for as noted, it is a good running car although the coupler height is a bit low.
