    Bachmann HO bay window caboose

    This is a surprisingly good model from Bachmann with detail and excellence in craftsmanship rivaling anything Proto 2000 has to offer. Excellent paint and lettering right down to the window frames, metal wheelsets and operating knuckle couplers are all the standard fare in high fidelity. This is an excellent model that I will be looking for more often.

    Window switch

    I am disappointed Bachman changed the windows on the NYC bay window caboose models they are shipping from sliding to fixed. The sliding windows are distinctive to the NYC. Without them it looks like a generic car. If I had known this I would not have purchased the car.
