    Lumix DMC-G7W is a very capable camera

    Very capable camera, it can be fully automatic, or fully manual. I love the size and weight, ease of use, and the 2 kit zoom lenses. I bought a kit with 2 extra batteries and charger to never be out of battery. I also bought an adapter so I can use my 3 excellent Nikon lenses from the 1980, to be used in aperture priority mode and manual focus. I love the sharpness and color of the photos I have taken, as well as 4K video at 30 fps, and the great 1080P (HD) videos at 60 fps. Take your time reading the user manual and watching YouTube videos about how to use the camera.

    The Manual Photographer's Travel Camera

    Sharp, fast lens with a largeish sensor and manual controls in a compact body. This is a wonderful travel companion for the photographer who finds mobile phones a compromise in quality and handling, but still want the ease of use of a single lens and a fully touch control navigable and touch-to-focus screen. There's some really cool software built in, too, if you'd like to play with those: Built-in timelapse compilation, 4K Photo Burst and Pre-Burst, and in-camera focus stacking/post-focus

    Panasonic Lumix DMC-G7 seems to be a great bargin

    While this version does not have the Leica lens like my earlier version did, the optics are still very good. I got a good 20 years out of my last Panasonic Lumix and expect the same from this one...
