    A great kettle ! Unique !

    This product is great. I owned one for over 10 years, it never failed me. I only bought another because, by user error, I ruined my 1st one, heh. Heats water super fast, thermostat allows for simmering, wide top allows for cooking things like soups, pasta, vegetables. Basically, I love these things and might buy another one for my family ! It has the added feature of having a FLAT heater disc inside, so stirring is no problem, unlike other machines which have a raised heating coil. Also, if you didn't know, Sunbeam is a QUALITY company, has been for many years. I'd say you've found the right kettle !

    hot pot stopped working

    I bought this to make tea in my studio and it worked just great for a month or so and then stopped working completely without warning; just went dead. It is very disappointing; guess Sunbeam is not all that good a company.

    Great Performance

    I love the fact that its light weight and the water gets boiling hot in less than a minute. My one concern is after using it about 6 times to boil water the coating on the bottom inside of the pot started to peel off . I no longer use it but I will if I want to heat something inside a container. I suggest you don't use it like a teapot as I did which is the reason I bought it in the first place. Performance wise it is does what it says it will do.

    perfect for college dorm

    The Hot Pot is the greatest thing ever for my college dorm! Doesn't take up a lot of space and I can cook a variety of meals very quickly. I love that I don't need a strainer for noodle dishes and easy clean up is a special bonus - thank you!!

    Heats water fast.

    We use ours in place of an old teapot. Heats enough water for two cups about as fast, or faster than a microwave. Light weight, and easy to handle. Well worth the price.
