    Best in it's class

    In 2021, the Sony HDR-AS300 is still one of the best performing action cams on the market with all the features I need. However, there are of course other action cams from other brands and manufacturers, their video might look better but they certainly don't sound great. Worst, most are usually only Monophonic.

    Sony AS-300 with learning curve

    First of all, I am a senior citizen and this is my first action cam. The sparse manual if you can call it that, did not have my exact model in it (HDR-AZ1, HDR-AS15 and AS30). Also, remote RM-LVR2 had bare bones folded paper manual. Went to Sony web site and downloaded the PDF file for the AS-300 and RM-LVR2. The pdf had much more information than the paper which came with the Cam. The learning curve had symbles, Shooting Settings had 21 terms and Camera Settings had 23 terms. One thing I found out was not to try to set the Cam near a modem or router as this will over whelm the remote. Other than that, it's a good Cam and in my estimation, much better than other action cams.

    Great cam

    Awesome little camera. Light and easy to use. Takes great video and still shots. Audio isn't bad. Get extra batteries. Although it's not bad on battery use for the quality of the shots it does go thru the battery pretty quick. Would recommend to anyone
