    Slaughter is a very good author, each book is better than the previous one! She knows how to bring you into the story, you. know the characters and feel loike your part of it!

    Good But Not Great

    I expect much from this author, as I am a fan. This novel didn't disappoint, yet it didn't dazzle either 😌 The story was easy to follow. The twists and turns were compelling. A majority of the characters are not likeable nor relatable, which is always somewhat disappointing 👎🏻. I want to bond with some of the notables. Plot is exciting in a Manson sort of way. Edge of your seat good? Nah. Entertaining? Yeah.

    Mind boggling!

    It doesn't read like a Karen slaughter novel. I'd read all but 2 of her works, not including the short works. I don't plan on reading those. Every title that I have read have been scintillating, this one however has topped them all!!!

    The beginning of the book was better than the last. There were too many gaps at the end and it seemed like the author ran out of room or steam. It was diversional, but I doubt I will read another of her books. I like, perhaps, a bit of maturity in an author.
