      Mac Pro 5,1 Catalina and Windows 10

      Installed in a Mac Pro 5,1. This is the Red Dragon version. Pros - Fits in the double wide slot, no interference with the second 16X slot, a little thinner than the Sapphire Pulse RX 580 it replaced, takes the same 6 pin power plug as the RX 580, no Pixlas mod needed, seems about the same power consumption as the 580. - Performance improvement on MS Flight Sim 2020: RX 580 was playable on Low-End Global Rendering Quality at 2560 x 1080 resolution. With the RX 5600 XT, can play 3440 x 1440 resolution, Ultra settings at 25 FPS and High End settings at 33 FPS. These frame rates are smooth in MSFS. - The RX 5600 XT is much quieter than the RX 480. Cons - Seems to run hot, just from watching the temperatures in the Radeon software while running Windows. I'm seeing up to 90 deg. C. - ...
