        Helmet arrived safe! its an Original Bundeswehr Fallschirmjager Versuchshelms ! circa 1955-1961 one of the early experimental helmets issued before GSG9 and quit scarce to find . In the book Stahlhelm zum Gefechtshelm Ban 2 by Ludwig Baer it shows this exact early helmet all the markings add up it matches all the early styled helmets used by the Bundeswehr. these helmets are actually MUCH rarer than any WW2 para helmets! A good piece of post war cold war history. Thank You!
