        Wonderful radio

        This is a wonderful radio with access to huge numbers of internet radion stations of all genres -- classical, jazz, show music, pop, et. cet. -- from all over the world. All that's needed is home wi fi or an ethernet connection. It operates through adapter or battery, though I've never tried the battery, so cannot speak to how often one would have to recharge or how long a charge lasts. All told, I could not be happier with it. The iOS and android squeezebox app. by logitech is excellent, and can be used at a distance as a controller, though the radio can be easily set by hand. There are six preset buttons, though One can save can save many more stations, Also there is easy access to radio, networks such as Live 365, pandora, slacker, Tunein Radio, and many more.

        great radio, great value

        One of the best of all the now-defunct internet radios. Still has a great search-engine which drives it. Not abandoned like all the earlier radios by Grace and others, who now just own an expensive clock. Built like a brick ----house: heavy, solid, and just reeks quality. None of the current search engines bring in all stations, but this one is most to my liking. All these internet radios are 'easy' to set up and operate -- as soon as one is comfortable with its particular language and sense. Much like any computer. And that is exactly what this is: a computer in the shape of a radio, which automatically, when selected, tunes in a URL one would have to type into a computer.         Internet radio like no other and under $50

        Very nice Internet Radio. Connected well to my Lyiron Media Server (LMS) and sounds great! Added a battery to it so as to have more freedom with its use. It is nice freeing up the computer for it work and still having my tunes playing in the background.

        Good Squeezebox Player with Connection Patch

        Connected to my network easily enough and recognized my raspberry pi based LMS server. There are issues with this model and modern wi-fi networks (apparently even if it is just the neighbors who have it, not you), where it will disconnect randomly and require a reboot. Fortunately, there a patch has been made so it checks the connection regularly and reconnects without reboot if a connection issue has occurred. That fix is called wlanpoke and has decent documentation on how to install it. All in all, very happy with it, and I am contemplating buying another or a squeezebox boom in the future to have access in more rooms of the house.
