    Good sound quality for the size, but don't expect booming bass like you would from an 8" subwoofer. You need to install the JBL One app on your phone in order to set the bass, treble and mid-range settings as the speaker comes set at "flat" and needs the above EQ tweaks to sound acceptable. Once you set the EQ settings to your liking, they remain in place even if you pair the speaker with different phones or PC's, tablets, etc..

    More professional sound for the buck!

    Paired to my phone no problem.Great for small parties. I'll be using it again during the New Year's Eve party. Small and portable that you can take anywhere. The way this speaker system was built, it takes advantage of the all the frequency ranges. The beat. The bass on this small speaker system is amazing!

    BUY 2 JBL Charge 5's! You won't be disappointed!!

    So I had the JBL Charge 2 and figured it was time to upgrade. Bought the JBL Charge 5 and was blown away by the sound quality. Read where it sounds even better in stereo, so I bought another JBL Charge 5 and man oh man!! Incredible, been telling all my friends about them. Thank you JBL!!
