    Beautiful hot+cool water tap!

    I don’t know why these Insinkerator taps cost so much, but this was a beautiful upgrade to the 12-year-old HC1100 we replaced because it started to malfunction. The HC3300 works with the same water heating tank we were already using. Works with the filtration system, too — you just have to plug one of outlets from the filter: the HC3300 only needs one copper line to serve both hot and cool options, whereas the HC1100 needed 2. We also switched from the F-601R filter our original tap kit came with, to the thinner F2000S filter system. This required also buying a 3/8 to 1/4 reduction union compression fitting, since the new filter system uses the smaller-diameter line, which doesn’t match up to our larger diameter shut-off valve without the reduction union. The HC3300 doesn’t come with ...
