Great replacement stylus!!
I had carelessly broken the stylus on my shure cartridge. This is the perfect replacement stylus. It was easy to install and setup and sounds great! I wasn't sure (no pun intended) if this aftermarket stylus would perform as well as the original but after listening to several LPs it sounds just as good. I would highly recommend this as a viable option for a replacement stylus.

Replacement stylus - little maintenance
The JICO Elliptical stylus is quite easy to replace in the original cartridge. The Shure M97 XE cartridge is a quality product which sounds sweet and it is easy to listen over long periods of time. The suggested recommended weight for applying to the stylus is low, and therefore is kind to my record surfaces. For me, using the JICO replacement stylus, revealed no audible difference compared to the original Shure stylus - (the same sweet quality performance.) The cost of the JICO stylus was noticeably less, than quoted costs for an original Shure stylus. I thoroughly recommend the JICO Elliptical stylus N97xE as a quality replacement. Great sounding and analytic needle
A great sounding needle, that is a bit more analytic than the stock N97xE. Tighter bass and punchier highs. Closer to an Ortofon OM than the original.
