    Easy Set Up - Great stability.

    The Quick Set Escape is a great shelter. I've learned the hard way buy purchasing less expensive brand name shelters that are far more difficult to set up. As an experienced camper I appreciate quality merchandise and the Clam is clearly high quality. And, while I'm not sure I can set it up in 45 seconds as they advertise, that's not really the point. I can set it up in a minute or slightly more and if you show up at the campsite and it's raining and you want to get out of your vehicle it is super nice to know you can set this shelter up in no time. It does not have a floor which I'm sure will turn off some folks but if you purchase an RV/Patio mat you'll be just fine if you need a floor. If you're looking for a pop up shelter for camping I'd say this is the one.

    Saved some clams on our Clam!

    The instructions state that this tent should take not a minute to set up. We read more than one set and even watched the video. Our tent took 4 people, and about 15 minutes as it was twisted and poles actually had to be removed and reassembled to construct it, it was very twisted by someone previously. No issues with the tents contents or function once set up per say, this was an open box item to be fair and once we figured it out, thanks to those with engineering aptitude with me, I felt I alone could easily set up and did take down. The product is rated as water resistant not waterproof, and instructions warn that if you add extra waterproofing protection you may impact flame retardant ability. I would recommend using tie downs or stakes at all times as even in slight breezes it tends ...

    'Escape' indeed....great product

    I have had several screen rooms that did not last the summer due to wind damage. This 'Clam' has amazed me. It has withstood heavy rains and wind with no problem. I do stake it down inside and out - due to it's construction it's possible to do that. It was a little difficult putting it up for the first time (alone) but I know it'll get easier the more I use it. It is light enough that I can carry it by myself. After being erected it is easy, with one or two others, to move if necessary. The ground flaps are of good size, the screen mesh has kept out the tiniest pests. With the shade accessories it can even be used as an added sleep area, if needed. The only issue I had was the directions that come in the package. I had to go to 'Youtube' to see it being done.     Clam screened in tent

    Easy to set up, take down and in bag a little harder, I expect it will get easier the more i use and learn. Better than I expected, very roomy inside seems, durable, i plan on getting wind panels, can use it as a tent if needed, keeps rain out. It a tad heaver than I thought but do able. I think its a good buy.
