Got it for me and my sons pistols and carbine sights. Applying it was easy, just dip a toothpick to apply,. A bit costly. but should last quite a while. Doesn't glow as long I would like, but long enough to hit anything in the first few minutes that you may need it. Hit the sights with a bright led flashlight before you use it. Very bright at first. Used it on my Walther PPS and sons PPS and Beretta CX-4 Storm. Got it for me and my sons pistols and carbine sights. Applying it was easy, just dip a toothpick to apply,. Decent if your sights are fading.
Easy to put on the sights, but tedious to clean the excess. Put it on my handgun. Glows nicely when lit, but it HAS TO HAVE DIRECT LIGHT EVERY TIME you want them to glow. They stay lit for a few minutes then gradually fade back to its normal shade within an hour or so. I'd only recommend for a temporary fix to brighten the sights up. I feel as if it's over priced. The bottle is fingernail size. The quality is decent. I wouldn't rely on it at night because you're going to have to use a flashlight to brighten them up. Might as well use the flashlight. I first bought the "original" color vial thinking that when in daylight, it would be green. It was not but it does glow nicely green in the dark So I bought the green hoping that it would produce a bright green color in daylight as shown in your picture and also produce a green glow as shown in the picture that was better than the "original" in the dark. It did neither. Did I get a bad vial. I have no idea but if my expectations were not unreasonable, I think you should send me another vial of the green that looks like your pictures, at no charge. And if you should like to have my unit back, I still have it, have not used any of it and would be happy to return it if you provide my with a prepaid container. I purchased this product to paint the hands of a watch. The luminescence is amazing. It is extremely bright, which is what I wanted so I could see the watch in the dark. The original luminescence was very difficult to see and needed to be replaced. So far it sounds great, but the down side is that the price is rather expensive for the size vial you get, and the paint flaked off. This stuff glows brighter than tritium when its charged by light. Easy to see day and night. Very easy to apply and dries fast for easy double application. It is a little pricey for such a small amount, suggest purchasing the larger size bottle for better value unless your only using for a few sets of sights. Make sure to apply clear protective coating for longer wear protection.
