The washer that this rear tub came off of was running until the spider arm behind the wash basket broke. It is in good working condition and while it wasn't leaking, you may want to replace the outer tub seal and the bearings & shaft seals since they have been disturbed. It may also fit other models of Whirlpool and Sears Kenmore as well as other brands of front loading washers. You'll get the tub in the photos. Thanks for looking.</font></font>

      HUGE $$$$ Savings

      Replacing the tub bearings and seal is a huge savings relative to replacing the whole tub OEM. You do essentially have to take the entire washer apart, but it's not a complex device so don't let that scare you. The video was EXTREMELY helpful. The inner bearing on my washer had seized and wore down the tub shaft. It made removal a bit more difficult (I had to essentially tear the bearing apart by banging on the shaft with a hammer through a piece of wood - see pic), but I was able to build the shaft back up with JB Weld and get the bearings pressed in place. The washer has been used heavily for over a month now without issue.

      Good, quality parts at a great price. Big job for a do-it-yourselfer, but well worth it. Repair shops said it would cost more to repair our washer than it would to replace it. They also told us we couldn't just replace the bearing without replacing the tub. They were wrong! Doing it ourselves was a big undertaking, but after watching youtube videos we did just fine.
