      Make me smell better than the surgery drain.

      I used this in 1969. Now in 2017. When I had surgery, I needed something to make me smell better until they removed the stint/drain. Love the product. Great price and value. Now I am just an old hippie that still likes the smell of Patchouli. I wish they made an after shave cream that smells this good.

      Depends What Your NEED is

      After using for about a week now I must say, My bottle truly does smell of house fire or something burned, black ash. It's a very STRONG odor I cannot get past. I bought it for ingestion under the use of an herbologist. I've found it to be very weak in any nice fragrance or scent. After about 1/2 hr the pungent smell goes away & the NICE patchouli scent can be recognized but it is VERY Faint. It does not last nor strong enough to scent anything. That is my honest experience & it could just be "MY" bottle. I purchased it due to the nice reviews but a little disappointed that I cannot use it with other oils for fragrance. I LOVE patchouli scents :) For this I cannot leave any recommendations, it's your personal exp :)

      Pungent

      I remember Patchouli Oil being a fully pleasant aroma. This stuff I bought has an offensive tinge to it. All I can think of is, one of the ingredients were out of balance. There was a pungent odor to it - that's unpleasant. Something in it is too strong and it ruins it.
