      unable to get the key cut where I live

      The key was purchased to correct an inability to start my car. Nowhere in the place I live in has the necessary equipment to cut this key. The nearest dealer is about 75 miles away.

      No worries now. Worked like a charm.

      This worked for my 2020 Mitsubishi Mirage. I got the blank cut at my local hardware store and successfully programmed it by carefully following the instructions in the owners manual. It's important to know that you must have two working keys to accomplish this task which means that you're already screwed if you lost one. I highly recommend obtaining at least one extra key to avoid the painfully inconvenient and expensive process of having to get a replacement key from a locksmith or dealer.

      Got it cut at my local hardware store and now have a third key. Programming was easy as long as you have two working keys. Do it yourself just check youtube.

      Saving hundreds.

      I needed spare keys for my car. The car Dealer was too expensive so I bought two of these. I had them cut at my local Hardware store. I then programmed them according to the way it was shown on U-Tube for my car. It saved me a lot of money.

      Great DIY alternative

      I was skeptical about this working with my 2017 Mitsubishi Mirage G4 (not push start) but it actually works! I was able to find a DIY key programming section in the car manual. You must have 2 working transponder keys to program a third.
