    If they work they will be considered a good deal.

    Old original brushes were totally worn down so needed replacement brushes. Have only just started the planer once and it did start up with the new brushes, which is something it couldn't do with the old brushes. There were a lot of blue sparks flying in the end of the motor on start up with the new brushes, but know that the new brushes will have to wear down to fit the armature. Will have to actually put product through the planer to see how long these new ones might last. I can't really say that the brushes are good quality with no history on their performance. They were however the least expensive option I could find on the internet.

    Ridgid Planer R4331 motor brushes

    These brushes work alright, but the springs are not as heavy as the originals.. One of them got hot and collapsed. Had to use one of the old ones. Planer works fine now.

    Brushes good / Planer not so good

    Good thing brushes are usable on another planer we bought because the motor burnt out and was a part that is not manufactured or interchangeable. Good brushes, just don't buy the Fish is planer.
