    Can you really do negatives in fives?

    The quality of these negative holders is wonderful, recommended, no doubt. However, I have been putting my negatives in sheets that hold strips six wide, for many years. Such that I didn't notice that this wasn't that, and was not entirely happily surprised. In my experience I tend to get up to 38 or so negatives from a reel and these pockets will only hold 35, without doubling up. On the first few I've used, as it happened, the negatives were a bit short and fitted OK. The jury is out as to whether this shorter extent will work, or not, over a greater number of films.

    Price is great for what you get.

    I'm going through 1000's of pictures to put into albums and wanted catalog the negatives for easy reference for future printing. These negative holders filled the bill. They are easy to use and can be placed in regular 3-ring binders. If I need more, will without adoubt I will re-order.

    Good value.

    Very nice as advertised. Doesn't give up quality for archiving your precious negatives. They don't scratch my negs and seem pretty sturdy. I will keep using them especially with the trend of film coming back. I do wish they were a little more transparent but as it is and for the price, it's a good compromise.

    Good quality, but a little tight, but therefore secure

    I ordered these because they were the same brand I had before and liked. They have decent weight and good clarity. Nothing I would do to improve them except perhaps make them a little less tight. But then they are assured not slipping out. Would certainly buy them again.

    Exactly as advertized

    The negative file is designed to maximize the use of space. This means that the slot for each strip of negatives has very little leeway on the edges. The negatives must be inserted carefully, otherwise the edges might snag.
