I broke them in gently for about 14hrs of play. Then I've gone a little bit higher on volume & bass. It's actually a multi-step break in. They're amazing sounding now. Just don't buy them, blast them on full volume, then whine about them failing because you were too lazy or ignorant to break them in for at least 3-5hrs. They're great speakers

Missing gasket tape/seal. This was not an issue due my particular install. Installed both today and both work as they should. Glad the bass blockers were in the box, as I planned on using them.
