    This Does the Job!

    The product is exactly as advertised. The specifications are what MacTracker says should be used in my mid-2009 MacBook Pro. Being an older computer the RAM upgrade is very affordable. Most options for this spec on eBay are used pieces. This is brand name pre-packaged for my particular use and at a very small difference in price, a no-brainer! I have used the computer for several days now and can feel that it operates more fluidly with a full compliment of RAM. Virtual memory is part of the Unix operating system; therefore, macOS has it as a fundamental part. Having more working memory reduces page-outs. By doubling the Mac's RAM from the basic 4GB to 8GB reduces page-outs to less than half of what it was before. That's why more fluidity. No, it doesn't make the Mac all of a sudden seem ...

    Renewed vitality into my laptop

    I do not have technical computer skills, but the memory was easy to install. I was getting "low memory, shut down" messages. I just installed the new ram moments ago. I opened 8 pages of YouTube videos and word program. My laptop ran smoothly without memory related messages. I wish I would have upgraded sooner. I would consider buying a ddr3 16gb, 1600mhz, 240pin for my desktop if there is one.

    Performance Inhancer

    Installed 2 x 4GB ram memory in a Fujitsu T731, running Windows 7 Pro. The computer was taking a while to boot, and accessing the internet. The Fujitsu came with only 2 GB of ram, and it was dragging. The Atech ram was easy to install, and talk about a boost in performance! For a third generation I5 machine, it sure runs great!
