    A history book everyone should read, regardless of age.

    This is an easily digested and articulate overview of human history, touching on the key elements which have caused either development or disaster. It gives a fascinating insight into such civilisations as Easter Island and the Sumerians as illustrations of mistakes made which have destroyed them. The footnotes are detailed and deserve thorough reading also. Highly recommended.
