Having an ultra-fast spindle speed of 15,000 RPM, the HP 146GB SAS has a data transfer rate of 6 Gb/s and with seek times of.4 ms for single track, 3.0 ms average, and 7.0 ms for full stroke seek. This SAS hard drive operates at an optimum temperature range of 50 to 90 degrees Fahrenheit. HP 146 GB internal SAS hard drives are ideal for enterprise and midline applications that require efficiency in hosting high transaction-based applications. It is available in HPE smart carrier, standard hot plug carrier, and non-hot plug carrier.
