    Replaced 230 CCA Mower Battery

    Works good, no complaints as far as functionality. A bit disconcerting that it doesn't seem to have a date or anything on it. Or maybe acid is added before it's shipped. Be careful, if there's moisture in the package it will be acidic, wear some gloves when removing the battery from the box. Mine had some water on it. As far as my mower, the old battery and tray were old and broken, hard to remove. When I finally wiggled free the old junky battery, the battery tray was completed rusted/eaten up by the batteries over the years. I used some 6" aluminum flashing and made my own battery tray. This battery is much smaller than my mower battery, probably have the size.. I made up the difference with 2x4. Also, it does come with terminals (nut and bolt). Something I wasn't sure of ...

    It's a battery.

    It is a motorcycle battery. I'm sure there are many more just like it. But, this one arrived quickly. It was the product it was advertised to be and had a full charge when it arrived. Thus far it is performing perfectly.

    Accurate Cranking Amp rating

    The one test I wanted to throw on the battery was a load test to check it against rated CCA . The battery put out what it was rated! Not sure about durability since I have only used it two months. I also keep it on a trickle charger so I expect years from it. Time will tell.
