Pros and Cons...
By itself, this studio light is incredibly bright -almost blinding- and easy to adjust its' brightness level. It easily installs inside a 59 inch octagonal softbox with white diffuser via the bowens mount. However, somehow it loses a great deal of the brightness through the diffuser almost to the point of uselessness, and I'm having a tough time restoring the brightness level inside it. I may have to research alternative white diffusers or a much brighter COB light at a higher wattage level.By itself, this studio light is incredibly bright -almost blinding- and easy to adjust its' brightness level. OK but need instructions for remote and special functions
Edited version: Bright, not heavy, but remote has buttons that are not sufficiently labeled, and the unit came with no instructions. I can figure out a few buttons on the remote but some are a mystery. Why no instructions? Can't find anything on YouTube for this model.

Good inexpensive bright light with quiet fan.
It's a bit cheap, in price and quality, but it's the price that wins. It is bright, and will work well in a smaller indoor environment, and be careful with it - I wouldn't bring it outside, and if you do, put it on a quality stand with sandbag! You don't want to drop this from any height. But back to the light itself - I was pleasantly surprised of how bright it is, and how well it works on lower settings (In a small room, you'll only need it on 10-25% as it is really bright on 100% - you'll wash out your entire image.) Also, the fan is quiet and so far it doesn't get hot. I'd give it a full five stars but the plug on mine is loose, so four stars. But I would recommend it to anyone looking for an inexpensive light.
