My bike frame where the kickstand attaches is tapered and needed the bolts to be extra tight. I got an extra-long hex wrench to apply extra torque and ended up snapping the head off of one of the upper bolts. I swapped out both upper bolts for Class 12.9 6mm Socket Heat Cap screws and they've held up great.
