Days later, Ebay customer service confirmed that seller had made no attempt to issue refund. Ebay says they will issue refund if seller doesn't, but it's already been a big waste of time and unnecessary aggravation.

Not to add the ridiculously slow shipping. BUYER BEWARE!!
