    Plate too thick for provided bolts

    Got this to go with a open box Edelbrock Performer 2750 intake (was missing from box). While installing the intake, I tried to use the provided bolts and they we too short. This block off plate is .3875 thick when it could easily half this thickness, and had it been the bolts would work perfectly. I ended up cutting a shelf over the bolt holes to reduce the thickness by half to be ale to use the supplied bolts. I spent just as much time modifying this plate as it would have taken to cut one out of some scrap plate.
