    Buyer be careful...I didnt realize, because seller used stock photos, the damage to the box was pretty decent. When I questioned it, seller said the description says it isn't for collectors. Which it does, if you dig deep enough. My bad...I should have asked more questions.

    Great tool but

    This model does not lock the laser. This is important, rough handling of the tool will cause failure. I personally did not know that it lack a lock for the laser. The model that I used before buying this one has a look. I this is going to be used by a number of people, I would not buy this model. The vendor I purchased the instrument from was excellent and I received the device in a shorter period than they suggested by a few days.

    Inside good outside no good

    Doesn’t work outside in daylight. Can’t see the light beam. Works great indoors. I bought it to level my siding. Can’t see the beam. No mention of this problem anywhere

    Dewalt Quality

    Does a great job. I just wish manufacturers (not just Dewalt) could make the beams a little brighter. Not always possible to have dim lighting in the work area.
