You can reach speeds of 27 to 28 mph but you will be pedaling quite fast even in 8th gear. Plenty of power. I bought also the E26 which I like better to ride and has better lighting system but does not fold. Step thru is the way to go for me. Speeds faster than 30 mph with effortless ghost pedaling. Throttle only on E26 is about 24mph but might be unlocked...Both are excellent bikes. E26A++

The seller refund my expense for the service of replacing the imner tube. Communication was punctual and CS was very good. I recommend the seller and the product.
