Gave mine to a friend who needed support in his chest area because he has had bypass surgery. He said it alleviated his painful chest when bending over. So I ordered another one to replace mine. I also use my sauna belts for support for my umbilical hernia. I know you can't recommend this as a medical aid but that doesn't keep it from helping. I'm happy so is my friend! The other feature I appreciate is it is not too long and doesn't bind hips.
