    Lasted about 6 weeks before it quit, poor quality

    Installed the pump and it lasted maybe six weeks before it started tripping my circuit breaker. When I pulled the pump out I discovered it had a plastic impeller that had split just about in half. I assume it probably ran until it stopped do to it not being able to pump with half an impeller. As it will not run now just sets and hums without spinning, turns freely but won't run. So while the pump had a great price, it turned out to be very expensive in the long run since it only lasted 6 weeks with only occasional use. I would recommend you spend a little more money on a better quality pump, as this one probably won't last long!
