I contacted the seller about this and I got a quick answer that helped. It is a tight fit, and what I ended up doing was inserting the viton bumper first then I drove the pin into it. I had to break down my 10/22 for cleaning and everything went right back together like it should. I love the thumbscrew. Much easier than searching for an allen wrench. I'll be back for more parts as needed.
