I let the seller know promptly, and he was understanding. It might have been damaged during shipping as the package was flimsy and easily crushed. Seller refunded my money and I'm pleased to have found a new battery elsewhere that is working.

There was a gouge in the front of the receiver unit but that was probably from the EBay people using a box cutter when repackaging at their international hub. Everything worked properly. Package was shipped promptly by seller. Accurate description from the seller. I would suggest, when selling to Canadian addresses the seller should use their own direct shipping method and avoid the eBay hub, faster and cheaper for everyone.
