      I read the description wrong, and thought I was purchasing a case and an earpiece as well. Clearly I was mistaken, which was my fault not the seller's fault. that aside, there were other sellers selling the same product for cheaper for just a charging case. I get that it was my fault not theirs, but if I knew how to read correctly, I could have gotten it for less money and faster than shipping from Hong Kong.

      HIgh Quality, BUT ...

      There is no doubt about the high quality of the German made Sennheiser products. In this regard, it deserves at least four stars. And it is surely one of the best options if one is not to go with MONO shotgun microphones. However, as a stereo mic for camcorders, Sennheiser MKE 440 has some minor design issues: 1- If you put a DeadCat windshield on the microphone for outdoor shooting, the buttons at the side of the mic is covered and you have to put the fur aside to see the mic buttons (on/off battery indicator, sensitivity switch and low cut filter). 2-The mic cable has a stereo 3.5 mm jack. If your camera accepts XLR connection, you have to use a 3.5 mm female to dual XLR male adapter (as in the picture). 3-Working with AAA batteries, the microphone cannot be charged via the camera.
