As in previous entries in the series, the game offers a vague storyline, a healthy dose of challenge, and a lot of death as players make their way through a dark, foreboding world filled with twisted monsters. Gamers can customize their character from ten different classes, find or purchase a variety of weapons, shields, and magic spells to fend off foes, and collect souls to acquire new items or level up ten different attributes.<br><br>The Kingdom of Lothric contains fewer unique environments than Dark Souls II's Drangleic, but the levels are designed to be larger and more interconnected, with challenging boss battles spilling players out at life-giving bonfires they visited hours or days before. Gamers once again have an Estus Flask to restore a limited amount of health, but Dark Souls III also marks the return of the magic meter from Demon's Souls, with players consuming an Ash Estus Flask to restore their magic. The series' distinct multiplayer mode returns as well, with blood stains and scrawled messages on the ground providing warnings to fellow users, and players wreaking havoc on one another through game invasions.<br><br>This Day One Edition comes in special packaging and includes the full game, a Prima starter guide, and the official game soundtrack.

    Really good

    Much better than its previous versions and really hard. Takes a while to master and sometimes you will get frustrated with the mechanics. The quality is amazing. The cinematography is gorgeous. The level design could use some rethinking since some areas are just absolute annoyance to get through. I’ve spend about 80 hours on my first play through trying to get everything and I know I missed so much because there’s no progression bar and the NPC’s give you missions with not much indication as to how to complete them. All in all it has great replay ability and the dlc’s are spectacular as well as the soundtrack. Worth a buy

    Dark souls 3 is a great game with great game design combined with great game play. It's challenging but fair and rewarding. The story also works well, i would definitely recommend this game!

    Hardest game ever, but so much fun

    It’ll definitely help you work on your sailor language. The hardest game I’ve ever played hands down, but it is so much fun! The best way to play is with a friend on multiplayer in my opinion. Love it
