      only ok, wouldn't buy again.

      1. It doesn't move as much air as I thought it would - the small one in our bedroom works better. 2. I'm not sure the product was new. We had it professionally installed, and the electrician said that the wrong stem was in the box, and the extension wasn't there. He used the stem from our previous, non working fan, and we didn't need the extension, but it was disappointing. 3. On the upside, it is a nice looking fan.

      Boom

      I bought two for my outdoor lanai. I installed the first one in about 90 minutes, and the second one in about half the time. Instructions were concise and organized. Good diagrams and no million dollar words that leave you scratching your head, There are two options to hang it, either hugging the ceiling or hanging down off a 6 to 8 inch post. I chose the latter and the fan still is close enough to the ceiling and yet gets a good draft to produce a solid flow of air. With the trendy shallow globe of the light kit, the unit looks elegant and contemporary at the same time. It is also very quiet when spinning and the colors of the metals and fan blades blend in well. Great value for the price!
