    Bob's TVP

    I love anything Bob's, so I knew the quality would be great. I've never bought TVP before so I thought why not. It's very soft and light for protein but many recipes online offered great ideas. Me and my husband made Chili and it was satisfying. A great buy if you're trying to get protein in other ways, especially if you're cutting back on meat!

    Best new vegan food Ive tried!

    This product is easily reconstituted and takes on the flavor of whatever you put on it. It has a mild grainy flavor by itself. It lends bulk and fill to tacos, curried beef and rice, chili, stuffed peppers or whatever use you have for a ground "meat". It has a "chew" like that of real hamburger or ground chicken. I use it in everything now. No weird taste and not difficult to use. Highly recommended!

    Very versatile - great for lightweight camping

    Good product. Very versatile. You can make everything from faux chili to faux oatmeal. Haven't tried faux ice cream... Great for adding protein to stew when you miss the buck. Great for lightweight camping.

    Sorta like meat

    I have used this only once - made stuff cabbage rolls a la recipe online. They were better the 2nd day as anything with cooked tomatoes (stewed) usually is. Really quite tasty! I may even dare to serve it to vegan friends.
