I have worn a hand brace over 15 years. During all those years the Bace had a solid strip into the palm of the hand, some hard to use. I put this brace on to eat write etc., off to use a walker. It's not only on and off easy but easy on the pocketbook. (I personally don't like the brace made for the left and right hand combined.)
