    Still noisy.

    When I installed the Hayden and started the bike it went almost silent. Nothing more than a small fan noise from the primary. I was happy and amazed but, as I rode the bike it got louder. Not as loud as the factory tensioner but louder than I would like. I know that the chain side plates have to seat in the shoe and the instuction sheet says that could take 500 miles, but it's been over 600 miles and the whining of the chain still exists. I would recommend it based of the spring loaded concept rather than the ratchetting concept of the Harley unit but not on it's quieting performance so far. Hopefully it will improve in the future. Install was easy enough. I didn't use tie wraps as some guys have done. Just gave it a good squeeze and worked it under the chain, then used a screwdiver to ...

    Haven't noticed a difference

    I wouldn't recommend buying this tensioner. It's easy to install and seems to be made well, but to me it doesn't do what they say. I haven't noticed a difference in shifting through the gears and it still "clunks" when putting my bike into first. Also having to purchase a 30 dollar primary cover gasket and a quart of fluid adds 40 more dollars to this. To me it's not worth the money.

    Hayden M6 for 6 speed

    The Hayden primary chain tensioner makes my '07 Road King better in several ways: mush easier into neutral, quieter and smoother shift, and the primary is quieter. I would highly recommend this to any HD rider.

    I installed it and slack in the primary was gone shifting was better. I am so Happy i got it.

    I got it quickly and installed. when i rode it all that slack in the primary chain was gone. It was quieter and the shift was much smoother and quieter. I put about 300 miles on it a nd puller the primary cover and it was picture perfect. I am so happy with it. Thanks
