There was no bubble wrap or protection, other than the original packaging. As described, the batteries had an expiration date of Dec 2034. I used a multimeter to test the new batteries and got a no-load-voltage of 3.30 V so they seem new. Hopefully, the batteries are undamaged and won't start a battery fire after being shipped without bubble wrap.
