It is NOT appropriate for airguns, but it suits very well the "Scout" rifle application. Reticle is EXTREMELY fine, and dots are really close together. If you are not capable of holding to the 1/8 of mRad, this scope is not for you. If you are, it will reward you with really fast target acquisition and precision in shot placement.
