        Better than first generation sensor

        These little fellas are not only more modern looking, but have a stabler base and wall mount options. They use WiFi to communicate with the mothership and sip energy instead of guzzling batteries every few months. I just wanted a couple more sensors and was pleasantly surprised these are better form and function.

        Necessary Upgrade to Ecobee

        These sensors make your smart thermostat even smarter by tuning your HVAC system to keep your whole house comfortable. My system now has 4 sensors plus the smart thermostat which blankets my 2000 sq ft home in data. Easy to add to your system and with a 4yr battery life (with reminder of a low battery), set up couldn't be easier.

        Easy to install, easy to use

        The sensors are easy to install. I prefer installing them on a wall. They come with stands, but I want to them to be in some fixed spot. Adding them to Ecobee is also straight forward. Ecobee will automatically detect a new sensor and will ask if you want to add it. With multiple sensors, it is possible to adjust temperature based on readings from selected sensor. For example, during night, ecobee can be told to control temperature based only on a sensor located in your bedroom.

        Totally worth it!

        This cute little item really helped balance out the heating in the house. Eliminated hotspots by roomate who works out of dining room. I did not understand how this could make such a difference in my heating quality (without newe ducts etc.). It accurately senses us if we are there or not there and heats accordingly. Also very easy set up. Not tech savvy at all but this took 30 seconds.
