It is not as thick as the Toyota OEM filter, although this aftermarket filter appeared to seal well in the air box. 10-12,000 miles will tell the story. It will be interesting to see the performance of this aftermarket filter with the cost being half of the OEM. This seller was very good to work with and shipped the item quickly.
