Clean with no animal or smoke. Durable, colorful, old world quality value. There is antique wear and low pile over the century, only buy if ok and wanting a real antique with value. Colorful with reds, blues and more. A timeless and authentic piece. Fine lifetime construction. Millions of individually hand tied knots in this rug. Each knot is also tied twice upon two foundation layers for many generations of beauty and durability. Organic dyes oxidize over the century giving lighter and darker tones of red and blues, a beautiful affect called 'abrash' by curators and collectors.
