Professionally cleaned. No stains, holes, tears, animal or smoke. Even original pile. Double knotted upon two foundation layers for extreme durability. Millions of individually hand tied knots, 100 per square inch per foundation layer or 200 effective kpsi. Durable and charming for another century of use, will maintain value. Background is a nuanced red tone darker and lighter tones from natural dye oxidation over the century, a beautiful affect called 'abrash' by curators and collectors.
